GNibox Scanner captures rooms in 3D using Apple's RoomPlan technology and exports signed .gniscan files for use in GNibox Platform. Scans are saved on your device until you choose to share them.
Room scanning requires a LiDAR-equipped iPhone Pro or iPad Pro. Non-LiDAR devices can still open the app, but scanning is not available. You can view and share previously saved scans if you have them on the device.
Scans are stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. They are not uploaded to GNi servers automatically. Delete individual scans from the Recent Scans list, or remove all app data by uninstalling the app.
Swipe left on a scan in the Recent Scans list and tap delete. Uninstalling GNibox Scanner removes all locally stored scans unless you have exported copies elsewhere.
A .gniscan file is a signed export bundle containing the 3D room model, room measurements, and optional wall photos. It is designed for import into GNibox Platform and compatible GNi tools.
